1st Page of Peter Pumpkinhead painted!

After many ink and watercolour sketches of the characters, I was really liking the looseness and freedom of the medium so what did i do ? I started painting the first page in acrylic!(idiot) and after labouring over that for days and hoping it would work out ( and almost having a nervous breakdown) I decided to totally scrap it and start again! So I started on page 2 in ink and watercolour and was instantly reinvigorated with optimism and really excited about the pages ahead.

I've been getting my hands dirty messing around with ink for this comic, but before commiting to a colour scheme i thought I'd try it out in photoshop. Maybe I'll end up completing it like this....

It was fun doing this sketch of Peter leaping across river. I used inks for this one and tried to keep it a bit loose.
